Museum object in local exhibition

A death penny from the museum was in an exhibition, ‘The Warwick Chair’, in November 2011. The exhibition was organised by Robert Bleasdale, a local auctioneer and Museum Trustee.

Happy 50th Birthday St John's House!

On Tuesday 2nd August 2011 the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers Museum (Royal Warwickshire) and St John’s House Museum jointly celebrated their 50th Birthdays!

Antelope Day

Ralph with the outdoor Museum shopAntelope Day, the annual Friends Lunch at the Museum, this year took place on Saturday 16th July 2011. At this event Friends, families and visitors enjoy themselves as well as fundraise for the Museum.

More Antiques Roadshow – the bit you won’t see

Last year when the Antiques Roadshow visited nearby Charlecote Park in Warwickshire, the museum took along some objects to find out more details about them. One of the silver items was filmed, but the BBC has decided not to include this in the final version of the programme.
